Sign PDF
Draw, type or upload your signature, then place it anywhere on your PDF and download the signed copy.
Your files never leave your device. Processing happens in your browser.
How to use the Sign PDF
- Choose the PDF you need to sign.
- Create a signature: draw it, type your name, or upload a photo of it.
- Tap the page to place it, drag to adjust, and set the width.
- Click Place signature, repeat on other pages if needed, then download.
Sign documents without printing
Rental agreements, offer letters, consent forms, NDAs and school forms often just need your signature. Printing, signing, scanning and e-mailing takes time and needs a printer. Signing the PDF directly is faster and the result looks cleaner than a phone scan.
Three ways to create your signature
- Draw: sign with your finger on a phone or with a mouse or trackpad. Sign slowly for smoother lines.
- Type: type your name to create a handwriting-style signature, quick and neat for less formal documents.
- Upload: photograph your real signature on white paper. The background is removed automatically so it looks natural on the page. You can also prepare it with the signature background remover.
Placing it neatly
Tap where you want the signature, then drag to fine-tune. Use the width slider so it fits the signature line; around 20–30% of the page width looks natural. Use Prev and Next to reach other pages; you can place signatures on as many pages as you need before downloading. Blue ink stands out as an original signature; black matches printed text.
Is this legally valid?
This adds an image of your signature. That is widely accepted for everyday documents like rental agreements, internal approvals and many HR forms. Some documents legally require a certificate-based digital signature (DSC) or Aadhaar eSign, such as company filings, some tax documents and tenders. Check what the recipient requires.
Keep your signature private
Everything, including your signature image, stays in your browser and is never uploaded. Before sending, you can add page numbers with page numbers or reduce the size with compress PDF.
Checklist before sending
- Signature is on the right page and line, and not covering any text.
- Initials are added on every page if the document requires them.
- Date is filled in where needed.
- The downloaded file opens correctly before you share it.
