- Download PNG or SVG for your visiting card or e-mail signature.
What is a vCard QR code?
vCard is the standard format phones use for contact cards. A vCard QR code contains your name, phone number, e-mail and other details. When scanned, the phone offers to save the contact, so no typing mistakes and no lost paper cards.
Where to use it
- Printed visiting cards, on the back or next to your details.
- Conference badges and trade-show stalls.
- E-mail signatures and presentation end slides.
- Shop counters and delivery packaging, so customers can save your number.
Keep it scannable
The more details you add, the denser the QR becomes. For small cards, include only the essentials: name, phone, e-mail, company. Print it at least 2–2.5 cm wide on visiting cards, with good contrast. The tool escapes special characters like commas in company names, a common cause of broken contact QR codes.
Static vs dynamic
This is a static QR code: the details are stored inside the code itself, it never expires, and it works offline. The trade-off is that you’ll need to print a new code if your details change. Dynamic QR services let you edit later but depend on their servers staying online.

Add a WhatsApp chat QR or a website QR alongside it. Your details are encoded in your browser and never uploaded.
Quick answers
Can I add multiple phone numbers? This generator includes one mobile number to keep the code small and quick to scan. Can I include a photo? Photos make vCard QR codes too large to scan reliably, so they aren’t included. Should I test before printing? Always: scan it with two different phones to make sure the contact saves correctly. Can I put it in my e-mail signature? Yes, download the PNG and insert it as an image.
Tip: add a short line like “Scan to save my contact” next to the code so people know what it does.
