Combine Photo and Signature
Put your photo and signature together in one image, one above the other or side by side.
Your files never leave your device. Processing happens in your browser.
How to use the Photo + Signature
- Upload your photo, then your signature.
- Choose 'Signature below photo' or 'Side by side'.
- Adjust the width and the gap between them.
- Download the combined JPG.
When a form wants photo and signature together
Some admission forms, scholarship portals, hall-ticket corrections and older state recruitment systems accept only one upload for โphoto with signatureโ. Others ask for the signature placed below the photograph, as on a printed application. This tool combines the two images neatly without needing a photo editor.
Layouts
- Signature below photo is the most common format. Both are scaled to the same width so edges line up.
- Side by side places them in one row at the same height. Itโs useful for ID-style layouts and wide upload boxes.
A white gap separates the images; set it to 0 if you want them touching.
Prepare both images first
- Crop the photo to head and shoulders with the cropper or passport photo maker.
- Clean and crop the signature with the signature resizer (use a custom size) so it has a white background and no empty paper.
- Combine them here.
- If the form has a size limit, compress the result with the KB resizer.
Sizing tips
A width of 300โ500 pixels suits most forms. The signature is stretched to the photoโs width in the stacked layout, so a signature that was cropped tightly around the ink looks best; a lot of empty paper would make it appear small.
Private
Both images are combined in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or stored.
Quick answers
What size should the combined image be? Follow the formโs instructions; if none are given, 300โ400 pixels wide and under 50 KB is widely accepted. Can I add a border around both? Yes: run the result through the add border tool. Can I put the signature on the left side instead? Use side-by-side layout, which places the photo first; swap the order of uploads if you want the signature first. What if the photo is landscape? Crop it to portrait first so the stacked layout looks balanced.
