Merge PDF
Combine several PDF files into one document in the order you choose.
Your files never leave your device. Processing happens in your browser.
How to use the Merge PDF
- Select two or more PDFs (add more any time).
- Drag the files, or use the arrows, to set the order.
- Click Merge and download the combined PDF.
When to merge PDFs
Many applications allow only one upload for “supporting documents”: a visa file with passport, bank statements and ITRs; a job application with resume, certificates and experience letters; a loan file with salary slips and statements; or reimbursement claims with several bills. Merging them into one PDF keeps everything in order and makes the submission simple.
How it works
The tool copies every page from each file into a new PDF, in the order you set. Pages keep their original quality, size and orientation; text stays selectable because nothing is converted to images. You see each file’s page count and the total before merging.
Tips for a tidy document
- Put the most important document first, e.g. the application form, followed by supporting papers.
- Remove unwanted pages from the merged file with organize PDF, or rotate sideways pages with rotate PDF.
- Add page numbers to long bundles with page numbers so reviewers can refer to them.
- Size limit? Compress the merged file with compress PDF.
Images too?
If some documents are photos (JPG or HEIC), convert them first with Image to PDF, then merge.
Password-protected files
Encrypted PDFs, like many bank statements, are marked in red. Unlock them first with unlock PDF using your password, then add them again.
Private and unlimited
Merging runs in your browser. Your files are never uploaded, there’s no watermark, and there’s no fixed limit on the number of files.
Quick answers
Will bookmarks and links survive? Page content, links and annotations are kept; document-level bookmarks from the original files are not combined. Can I undo a merge? Keep your original files; you can always split the merged PDF again with split PDF. What is the size of the merged file? Roughly the total of the original files; compress it afterwards if a portal limits size.
